A six-year promise fulfilled—axie parts evolution arrived in Lunacia last week. Today, you’ll discover exactly what these new part upgrades can do in the Axie Origins arena.

Parts Evolution in Origins
Parts Evolution will be a big part of Axie Origins. Axies are now dynamic NFTs that can be improved with time, effort, and skill. This improvement will be felt in the Arena, giving evolved axies a slight edge in battle.
Axies will receive an additional +1 HP per level, and an extra +2 for every Ascension level (e.g. lvl 9 to 10 grants +3 total bonus HP).
Of the 192 parts, 42 will be receiving an Effect Improvement, while the remaining 150 will receive a Stat Boost. The average Stat Boost for these cards is 15%. Here’s an example of the Effect Improvement and Stat Boost for upgraded parts.

Balancing Patch for Origins Season 7
This January 3, we will be deploying the official balancing patch for the upcoming season. If everything goes as planned, Origins Season 7 will be starting mid-January.

The Origins team made these changes based on Season 6 data and community feedback. We want to give players as much time as we can to theorycraft and prepare during the off-season before S7 launches!You can expect a more in-depth patch update as we get closer to Season 7 launch.
