Introducing the Codex
Think of the Codex like a battle pass on App.axie. Get Codex → Unlock and complete quests → Earn points → Secure rewards. There are free and premier paths. Free path rewards contain Bounty Points that can lead to more weekly Bounty Board rewards. Here’s what premier path users can take home:
Up to 6.5 AXS by reaching Level 24
Four exclusive accessories at Levels 5, 10, 25, and 30
Lucky Coins to spin the Ascendant Wellspring machine
Exclusive Seasonal Hangout Banner at Level 20
Other perks including +15% AXP boosts when using Coco and +15% Fortune Slips when praying
Bounty Points are claimable bonuses that count towards your weekly leaderboard rank. Lucky Coins are new, off-chain tokens you can only use at the Ascendant Wellspring. More details below.

Want to earn extra AXS? Climb the Codex Leaderboard for a chance to win raffle tickets. There will be two raffles during the Codex’s Season 0. The first raffle will include the Top 200 weekly Bounty Board users and will feature 50 winners announced after week 4. The second raffle include the Top 100 weekly Bounty Board users and will feature 50 winners announced after week 8.
Pro-tip: Only Premier Path purchasers are eligible!

Codex FAQ
Q: Can I buy the Codex anytime?
A: Yes. You can purchase it anytime during the season to unlock rewards for the levels you’ve already reached.
Q: Are there other ways to earn Lucky Coins besides Codex levels?
A: Lucky Coins can only be earned from Codex progression as of now. Additionally, we’re also running one social contest where you can earn some extra Lucky Coins.
Q: What happens if accessories from the Ascendant Wellspring don’t sell out?
A: Accessories from the Codex are exclusive to each season. Even if they don’t sell out, they will be unavailable after a season ends.
Q: Will the Ascendant Wellspring close immediately after the season ends?
A: No. It will remain open for 3 days after the season ends. After that, it will be closed.
Q: How do drop rates in the Ascendant Wellspring change if some tiers sell out?
A: Rates are recalculated as supply rans out on certain tiers. For example, if lower tiers sell out, your chances of pulling a Mystic increase. However, Mystics may also run out first because they have a lower supply!
Q: If I join late, can I still unlock levels without doing quests?
A: For now, no. In the future, level purchasing may be available.
Q: Are Lucky Coins ERC20 tokens? Can they be traded?
A: No. Lucky Coins are off-chain items and are not tradable.
Q: Can I save my Lucky Coins for next season?
A: No, Lucky Coins will expire at the end of every season. Make sure to use them before the Ascendant Wellspring closes (3 days after the season ends)!
Q: How do the Slip Buffs work on delegated prayers?
A: This depends on who has a buff. For example:
Case 1
If A has a buff and B prays for A, then A gets the full buff on all slips
Case 2
If A has a buff and B prays for A but they’ve agreed to a 50/50 split, then A gets a buff on 50% of the slips but B does not get any buff
Case 3
If B has a buff and B prays for A, then nobody gets any buff
(B can get a buff by praying for him or herself)
The Great Bounty Board Transition is almost complete
Earlier this year, we began merging the Standard and Premier Bounty Boards. Today, we’re one step away from bringing both Bounty Boards under a single Daily Bounties tab on App.axie.
This week, the SBB’s 7K AXS reward pool will be paused as as our teams gather feedback and data. If all goes well, these rewards will transition to the PBB next week. At that point, all Daily Bounties would be free to access and their total reward pool would be 27K AXS.
Note: The PBB leaderboard will also continue its weekly rotation, and starting today Premier Tickets no longer have any utility.
